The 2070 runs very hot and the fans are annoyingly loud. First off, the laptop was dirty or dusty before I even got it out of the box. First appearance is everything! Secondly it would not boot. I mean honestly, WTF? It had to do a BIOS update which took 15 minutes before I could access setup. After I cleaned it a bit, it’s a beautiful piece of machinery! Now that it’s running, I’ll see how it performs and add to this review.UPDATE:Day 3 it’s running great, pumping out frames to my 144 hz monitor like a…

Omen is well built, cool, light on bloatware and just works. I wub it! After the nightmare I had with Dell’s AW 17 r4. Repasted X3 with thermal pads, under volted, under clocked. Taken out to super fancy candlelight dinners and serenaded, only to find out that she was too hot tempered and loud for me. So much waisted time I could have been spending with my true love. My forever, my precious, my hot, but not to hot love, my OHhhhMAN!!! *Omen*It’s neat. Do recommend.

Very good for artists and 3D modeling. This is my first gaming laptop. I was going to use it for both gaming and working on 3D modeling and art. I am so happy I got this for that. Using this is so smooth and it feels great to draw on with a tablet and it performs well with rendering. I can make high poly models easily with very little lag. My only cons is that this laptop gets very hot and noisy with some games that use high level rendering. I recommend cooling fans when it gets hot.
