Hyper X has done it! This is the one for PS4! This is the one for PS4. Forget the alpha, forget the revolver s, and kiss the cloud 2 goodbye. The lower impedance (41ohms) means it can be better powered by the controller. Bass is there and sounds good. Explosions come alive in games like battlefield and H1Z1.The mic is cyrstal and your teammates will have no issue hearing your callouts.I’ve tried a ton of headsets from all different brands but this.. This is the one.

Doesn’t come with everything anymore. I’m slightly unhappy. The headset itself if fantastic. I have no complaints about that at all. However, the reason I went with the CloudX over some of the other Cloud headsets is all the reviews online said that it came with some extra accessories. Namely the hardshell carrying case, memory foam headband, and extra earcups. However, HyperX has changed the packaging and it no longer comes with any of these things. I could have bought the Cloud Silvers for less money and gotten at least the extra…

Not loud enough I really wanted to like this headset. The design and overall feel is awesome BUT as I was predicting the controller does not put out enough power for it to really pop sound wise. My Turtle Beach PX4 ( wireless one ) is so much louder than this. I don’t think any headset with around 50mm drivers will ever be fully powered up by the controller, even though the impedance was lowered to 41.I will be trying the HyperX Flight in near future.
